Because nothing happens, and the novelty of making something out of nothing has kinda worn off.  Looking back, maybe I only thought I was making something out of it anyway.  Oh, already this is sounding like a forlorn goodbye, but fear not!

I'm just sitting, waiting.

A while ago I wrote about a placement I might have lined up.  I still might have it lined up, and this is what I'm sitting waiting for.  If it happens, I'll be updating facts and figures here and here, which should be pretty interesting and get me back in touch with what's happening in my field (lol, my *field*).  All it needs is for two bureaucracies to get their collective heads together and their collective arses in gear. Hah!

I might even get the chance to write some pages of my own, wherein I must remember to use 'about' instead of 'approximately', but not explain population indices.  Which is good, because I can't remember how population indices work.
